Nibelungs
In our small, private Nibelung Museum we tell the following stories
we are the legend for small and big children!
King Alberich tells:
- Why he owns so much gold and what work his people do.
- How he got back the treasure of the Nibelungs that Hagen had sunk into the Rhine.
- How dwarves and elves celebrate.
This is Alberich, King of the Dwarves:
Come and pay homage to the richest and most powerful king on earth. See all my splendour and glory. The splendour of my gold will blind your eyes and make them ache. But do not desire my gold, otherwise you will end up as terrible as the Nibelungs once did!
Our myth and fairy tale world of the Nibelungen is available in German, English and Dutch.
The melody of the Song of the Nibelungs:
Unknown contemporaries claim that the melody of the Song of the Nibelungs could not have been written down in ancient times, since notes were unknown at that time. The melody was lost forever and ever. Peter Boos has now succeeded in years of research to prove that the melody lives on in old folk songs.
A songbook with 112 verses with texts by Peter Boos, which can be sung to melodies of German folk songs.
